Retrospect rapidly compiles a complete list of files on your computer prior to every backup and
then compares the list to your backup media. Only new or changed data is then backed up.
Other backup applications require a complex series of full, incremental, and differential backups.

Point-in-time restores with unparalleled
accuracy
Retrospect Continuous Backup protects all your important files by making copies every time
changes are saved. Only the incremental changes within a file are stored, conserving disk space.
Optional use of external or network storage provides additional protection, and a simple right-
click can recover any saved version of a file.
Automatic grooming of disk backups Remove older backups on disk automatically to ensure sufficient space for new backups. Simply
turn on Retrospect’s unique data grooming feature and specify the number of backups you want
to keep on your computer or an external disk. Retrospect takes care of the rest.
Data lters Save time and space by excluding certain types of data, for example temp files or videos.
